A leading mining company in Hotazel, Northern Cape, is seeking a Manager Production in a permanent full-time position. The candidate will oversee the Mining Department to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' management experience in underground mining and at least 10 years in the mining industry, along with relevant qualifications such as a Degree in Mining and a Mine Managers Certificate of Competency. The South Africa Manganese operation can be found in the manganese‑rich Kalahari Basin, in the country’s Northern Cape, which is home to 80 per cent of the world’s manganese. This position is based at our Wessels Mine which represents one of the largest manganese reserves in South Africa.
This role is a permanent full‑time position.
Manager Production, you will be responsible for managing the Mining Department in order to meet business objectives. This is a legal appointment as per Section 3.1.(a) of the MHSA and this role will be reporting to the general manager.
