Maintenance Professional (Millwright / Industrial Electrician) – The Netherlands

Location: The Netherlands

Contract: 2-Year Fixed Term (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Professionals with strong experience in a production environment (food packaging, production lines, mining, high-tech or similar). This opportunity offers the chance to work with cutting-edge machinery and develop your career internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all-round mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Work with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, and frequency switches.
• Assist with welding (stainless steel/Alu) and light fabrication where required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on production lines.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
• Participate in shift-based operations and be available for overtime where needed.

Requirements

• RED SEAL Trade Test, N5 or N6 Millwright / Industrial Electrician.
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English (essential, due to transition into Dutch).
• 2–4 years’ relevant experience in mechanical & electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting in high-volume production environments.
• Exposure to Siemens PLC systems is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence and passport.
• Willing to work in shifts.
