MIN REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate MUST meet the following requirements – candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered:

  • A Senior Certificate – Grade 12
  • Previous experience/maintenance background is an advantage
  • Computer skills – SYSPRO experience is a must
  • Technical/stores experience is an advantage
  • Strong admin oriented
  • English proficiency – speak, write and read
  • Decision making, problem solving and organizing skills
  • Be able to maintain a multi-task focus
JOB SPECIFICATION:

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Managing the maintenance schedule
  • Opening and closing of jobs on both Syspro and the maintenance schedule
  • Liaising with suppliers for quotations and following up on orders
  • Liaising with the procurement department for placing of orders
  • Creation/requesting of material stock code
  • Managing/monitoring the maintenance warehouse material/parts inventory
  • Updating and ensuring the preventative maintenance schedule is up to date
  • Ensuring that goods/material received are greaved on time
  • Helping with the general maintenance admin work e.g. filling in capex forms, creation of project plans
  • Being able to give reports to maintenance manager
  • Sending out weekly reports on completed jobs and scheduled jobs for the upcoming week to various HODs
