Job description

We currently have an exciting position available for a Litigation Administrator to be based at our Head Office.

You are responsible for:

  • Litigation Administration:

Book & manage the litigation department's diaries

  • Closing of billings on CMS.
  • Attend to all CCMA / Dispute Resolution Forum documentation (Objection to Con-arb Set-downs, etc.)
  • Drafting of documentation (e.g., subpoena requests for postponements, etc.)
  • Coordinate litigation matters by ensuring relevant documents are in place (e.g., CCMA documents), relevant meetings are booked (e.g., preparation meetings between Litigator and client), evidence bundles are prepared, etc.
  • Assist in proofreading Litigation documents.
  • Employers Organization: Keep track of all members, ensure client membership forms and payments are processed, CMS status is updated, and membership certificates are obtained.
  • Administration:
    • Ensure all relevant documents are correct and uploaded onto CMS.
    • Update CMS information (e.g., client details).
    • Filing and maintaining client files.
  • Reports:
    • Assist in compiling Litigation reports (both internal and external).
  • Adhoc:
    • Assist with Reception duties on an ad hoc basis.
  • Package & Remuneration:
    • Salary: R15000 CTC per month

  • Qualifications:
    • Grade 12
    • HR Related Diploma in HR / IR
    • Courses in Business Communication or Business Administration
    • Courses in Microsoft Office (Especially Word and Excel)
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in the services / legal industry in an administrative role. Experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal would be advantageous.
