Job description
Inherent requirements
Lecturer
  • A PhD degree on NQF Level 10 in Nursing (for a permanent appointment)
  • A master's degree on NQF Level 9 in Nursing (contract appointment : five (5) years during which a doctoral degree on NQF Level 10 in Nursing MUST be obtained to be converted to a permanent position).
  • A Professional Bachelor's degree on NQF Level 8 in Nursing or an equivalent qualification (attach a copy).
  • Registered at the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse General (General, Psychiatry, Community) and Midwife / Accoucheur (attach a copy).
  • An additional qualification in Nursing Education and registered as such with SANC (attach a copy).
  • An additional qualification in Occupational Health Nursing and registered as such with SANC (attach a copy).
  • Proven experience in the delivery of poster or oral presentations at conferences or equivalent activities.
  • Provide evidence of manuscripts produced that have the potential to be converted or submitted for publication in accredited journals.
  • A good academic record (attach a copy).
  • Proven clinical experience after basic training.
