The IIE's Varsity College, Westville has a vacancy for a Part-Time Lecturer within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences for the module listed below.

Minimum Education Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology, Community-Based Counselling, Industrial Psychology, or a closely related field (or a Doctorate in one of these areas) OR
  • Registration as a qualified Psychometrist with a Master’s degree in a Psychology-related field.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements
  • Work experience as a Psychologist in clinical, counselling, research, educational contexts, etc.
  • Lecturing/tutoring experience in the module above (at least at Honours level).
  • Experience in conducting psychotherapy and psychological assessments.
Working Conditions
  • This is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
  • Preference will be given to South African citizens and permanent residents with proof of permanent resident status.
