Job summary

A leading company in water treatment technologies is seeking a Process Controller Foreman for the Hermanus/Overstrand Area. This role requires a strong knowledge of treatment technologies and operational procedures along with a Grade 12 education and relevant certifications. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and monitoring water quality. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar role and be able to manage operational discussions effectively.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience as a Process Controller at a class C works or higher treatment plant.
• Ability to read operational manuals for effective management of treatment plants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks and activities related to maintenance of Bulk Water networks.
• Inspect maintenance requirements and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Monitor and maintain water quality.

Skills

Operational knowledge of treatment technologies

Computer literacy - MS Office

Driver's license

Education

Grade 12 plus maths and physical science

NQF 3 or NQF 4 Operator Certificate in Water and Waste Treatment

Registered as Class 3 or 4 Process Controller
