Overview

The Junior Inventory Controller supports day-to-day inventory management by ensuring stock records are accurate, movements are properly controlled, and inventory discrepancies are identified and resolved. This role works closely with internal teams to maintain stock availability and support efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure system records remain accurate.
  • Record and control all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
  • Investigate stock variances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with physical stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Prepare basic inventory reports and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with internal teams across warehousing, logistics, and finance on inventory matters.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field; Up to 2 years’ experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain roles; Sage Experience.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Basic knowledge of inventory control principles; Ability to analyse data and solve problems; Good communication and organisational skills; Proficient in Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems is an advantage.
