Seeking a detail-oriented and construction-savvy Registered Candidate Quantity Surveyor who has successfully completed a minimum of two years under candidacy and is now ready to take on greater responsibility within a dynamic project environment.

The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of construction methodologies, cost management principles, and contract administration, with a strong commitment to professional growth and compliance with SACQSP standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies
• Conduct site measurements and valuations in accordance with project timelines
• Support tender documentation and adjudication processes
• Monitor project costs and provide variance reports to senior QS staff
• Administer progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry regulations
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve cost-related queries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP
• Successfully completed at least 2 years of structured candidacy
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes and terminology
• Proficient in cost planning, measurement, and contract administration
• Familiarity with JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC contract suites
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Resides in the Western Cape and is available for site visits across the region
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
