Main Purpose of the Job

Netwerk24 is looking for an excellent general reporter to report from Johannesburg. The reporter must be able to source, investigate and report. The journalist should have an existing and extensive contact network. The suitable candidate will have the ability to get the story behind the story and gather unique information that is not available elsewhere. The journalist should have a good understanding of digital journalism, be able to record video and take photos. The suitable candidate will be able to work quickly and under pressure. The successful candidate must also be willing to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and public holidays from time to time.
