First Technology Polokwane is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic technical support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality onsite and remote IT support, ensuring seamless IT operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and remote IT support to clients across various environments.

  • Perform IT systems support and administration, ensuring optimal system performance.

  • Deliver hardware and software troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance.

  • Assist with cloud services deployment and maintenance, including Microsoft cloud offerings.

  • Conduct site assessments, compile documentation, and recommend technical improvements.

  • Perform daily client follow-ups, ensuring issues are resolved and updates are communicated effectively.

  • Assist with networking support, including diagnostics and configuration.

  • Support and maintain firewalls and access points (APs).

  • Implement and monitor end-point protection and management solutions.

Minimum Requirements
  • +2 years’ experience in a similar IT support role.

  • Strong knowledge of O365, networking fundamentals, and hardware/software troubleshooting.

  • Experience with firewalls, APs, and endpoint security tools.

  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (advantageous for onsite visits).

  • Strong communication & customer-service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tickets.
