Description of the role and purpose of the job :

The IT Audit Senior Manager is responsible for scoping, planning, and managing a team to execute the reengineering of financial statement and internal audits. The goal is to leverage our client's information systems, data, and available technologies to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, provide optimal assurance, and differentiate our services. The role includes managing teams in the execution of large or complex audit clients.

The secondary purpose involves advising clients on managing risks related to information management, IT governance, business systems risk, project risk, and information security.

Experience in performing IT audits and auditing IT systems for external and internal audit clients is required, particularly in Banking, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Markets, and Insurance industries. Experience with IT Attestation audits (ISAE3402, SOC 1) and PCAOB audits is advantageous.

You will also guide junior colleagues on their goals, performance, and career progression as a Performance Manager, along with other operational roles within the division.

Key responsibilities :

  10. Identifying potential business development opportunities
  11. Reporting findings to stakeholders and investigating control deficiencies
  12. Writing reports
  13. Building capabilities in system-based auditing and data analytics
  14. Managing the performance of colleagues
