The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of post-articles experience in handling complex insurance disputes. Responsibilities include representing clients in litigation, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and conducting research. A salary range of R30,000 to R40,000 is offered, based on experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, and multi-language abilities would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-4 years post-articles experience in insurance litigation or related fields.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage 400 active files, both high and magistrate court work.
• Multi-languages would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance-related litigation including coverage disputes and bad faith claims.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients and colleagues.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration as needed.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters, experts, and other professionals to build strong cases.

Position Available : Insurance Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Insurance Litigation Attorney to join the dynamic legal team for a Law Firm in Randburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling complex insurance disputes and litigation matters.

Salary : R 30000-R 40000 ctc based on experience

Duties & Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance-related litigation including coverage disputes bad faith claims and policy interpretation.
• Draft and respond to pleadings motions and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients and colleagues.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration as needed.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters experts and other professionals to build strong cases.

Qualifications

• LLB degree.
• Minimum of 3-4 years post-articles experience in insurance litigation or related fields.
• Strong analytical communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage - 400 active files both high and magistrate court work
