Overview
Role: Insurance Administrative Assistant
Location: Remote
Full-time: 3pm - 11pm
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for insurance policies, claims, and client accounts.
- Prepare, process, and maintain insurance documents, applications, and correspondence.
- Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Manage databases and ensure accurate data entry of client and policy information.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely and professional support.
- Support brokers and account managers with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an insurance or related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, terminology, and processes.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with insurance software systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar).
- Knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products.
