Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in automation and instrumentation.
• Qualified Millwright or Electrician with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Do maintenance installations on hydraulic presses and industrial robots.
• Work on CNC machines and spot welding guns.
• Participate in a rotating 3-shift system.

Job description

Reporting to the Automation Group Leader, this position requires the services of an individual to do maintenance installations on hydraulic presses, Industrial robots, CNC Machines as well as Spot welding guns.

Must be prepared to work shifts (Rotating 3 shift system morning, afternoon, and night).

Knowledge required :

PLC programming (Siemens S5, S7 & Festo)

Robotics (Kuka & ABB)

AC / DC – Drives and Servo applications and drives experience

SCADA (Win CC, WinCC Flex) / HMI (Siemens, EBELT, BTxxx, Suetron) programming

Skills Required :

Able to read and understand electrical drawings

Electrical & PLC fault finding

Ability to read and understand Hydraulic / Pneumatic drawings

Able to work on 3 phase 380 V

Minimum Requirements :

2 – 3 years’ experience in Automation and Instrumentation

OR Qualified Millwright or Electrician with applicable experience

T3 / S4 Diploma will be an advantage

2- 3 years as a technician in the electrical field, especially in automation (hydraulics, maintenance / robotics / projects)
