A leading food manufacturing firm is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to improve machinery performance at their East London facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in instrumentation, hold a trade certificate in Instrumentation, and possess strong analytical skills. Location: Nestlé East London Factory
Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Instrumentation. Trade certificate in Instrumentation (red seal) is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in instrumentation, preferably in an FMCG environment.

As an Instrumentation Technician, you will drive improvements in machinery and asset performance, reporting to the Automation Engineer daily. The factory is advancing with continuous improvement principles and developing TPM processes, making it an exciting time to join and contribute.
You will be responsible for calibration and maintenance of instrumentation onsite to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Duties include attending to instrumentation faults and breakdowns, calibration of equipment such as metal detectors and X-ray systems.
