What you will be doing

We are looking for a part‑time admin superstar! You will be responsible for HR administration tasks.

  • Routine office administration – filing correspondence, letters, employment agreements, personnel files, telephone enquiries, name badges, etc.
  • Assist with the administration and co‑ordination of the team member recognition scheme – service awards, gifts, celebrations.
  • Assist in the new starter process – new starter packs, employment agreements, induction, orientation.
  • Support in the processing of payroll on an administrative level.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes as requested.
  • Assist with the administration and facilitation of training programs conducted within the hotel.
  • Ensure office stationery is stocked to an operational level at all times.
  • Maintain team notice boards, PowerPoints and signage updating as required.
  • Assist with employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner.
  • Assist and resolve team member and management queries in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for

The HR Coordinator supports our entire hotel team. You are the go–to person for all queries.

  • Minimum 12 months experience in an HR environment (trainee or coordinator), preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • A passion for team member recognition.
  • A passion to deliver training (welcome days, fire life & safety training, service skills).
  • Computer literate – Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on your own or in a team.
