HR Officer

Report to: HR Manager

Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)

Type: Permanent

Location: East Rand

Great opportunity for HR Officers with 4-6 years of experience in Human Resources. Responsible for managing employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and providing HR support to all levels within the organisation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Onboarding (0-30 days): Prepare and distribute employment offers, coordinate IT setup, and ensure documentation completion
  • Employee Records and Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records, process changes, and generate HR reports
  • Performance Management Support: Coordinate review cycles, assist with improvement plans, and maintain records
  • Employee Relations and Support: Investigate and resolve employee issues, support engagement activities
  • Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensure adherence to laws, assist with compliance audits, and track regulatory changes
  • Training and Development Coordination: Maintain training records, track effectiveness, and completion rates
  • Offboarding and Separation Management: Process terminations, conduct exit interviews, manage benefits termination, and provide employment verification
Required Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 1-3 years of HR experience, proficiency in HRIS systems

Technical Skills

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, document management, data entry accuracy, and HR reporting

Core Competencies
