Job summary

A recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR activities for a new project. The role includes managing employee onboarding, HR policy implementation, and compliance with South African labour legislation. Candidates must have a relevant degree, extensive HR experience, and strong skills in recruitment and payroll management. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years HR generalist experience, with at least 3 years at management level.
  • Proven experience managing Section 197 transfers.
  • Experience with recruitment, payroll oversight, HR administration, and training coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assume a key role and participate in the site leadership team.
  • Manage the Section 197 transfer process, including onboarding.
  • Establish and implement HR policies and systems for the new project.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for new roles.
  • Oversee all HR administration including contracts and employee records.
  • Manage payroll processing for legislative compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
