Qualifications

  • 10 years HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines (ER, Recruitment, L&D, Performance Management, HR Operations).
  • Experience in multi-site, people-intensive environments (hospitality, catering, service industry advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leadership to implement HR strategies that support productivity and workforce stability.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and exit processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on Employee Relations (ER), ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation.
  • Drive performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Support organisational design, culture-building, and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure HR data integrity and deliver insightful reporting for decision-making.
  • Promote compliance with Employment Equity and Skills Development Acts.
  • Embed HR policies and governance standards across all sites.
