Job Title: Hotel Security Officer

Summary: We are seeking a well-groomed and presented individual to join our team as a Hotel Security Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel premises, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises and monitor security systems to identify and address potential safety hazards or security breaches
• Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats by maintaining a professional and alert presence at all times
• Monitor guest and staff behavior to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
• Respond to and investigate all security incidents, including disturbances, thefts, and medical emergencies
• Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to guests and assist with their needs or concerns as necessary
• Complete detailed reports of all security incidents and maintain accurate records of security activities

Qualifications

• Atleast 3 Years experience in Hospitality Security
• Valid Psira certificate (A-C)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must have matric
