  • Market Growth & Business Development : Expand the Private Banking footprint, grow market share, and drive revenue through strategic business‑building initiatives.
  • Client Relationship Management : Cultivate long‑term relationships with influential clients, delivering tailored investment, lending, and advisory solutions.
  • Leadership & Team Development : Lead, inspire, and develop a high‑performing Private Banking team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Risk & Operational Oversight : Manage credit decisions, portfolio health, budgets, and compliance to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Collaboration & Brand Positioning : Partner across teams to deliver integrated solutions and entrench the Bank's brand in the region.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent NQF7 qualification) in Finance, Commerce, or related field, FAIS‑alignedli>
  • RE1 – Regulatory Examination for Key Individuals : Required for approval as a Key Individual to oversee fit and proper compliance within Financial Services.
  • RE5 – Regulatory Examination for Representatives : Required to provide financial advice and intermediary services under FAIS.
  • Proven Leadership : 8–10 years' senior leadership experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Affluent Client Services, leading teams of 10+ in a highly competitive market.
  • Business Growth & Market Expansion : Demonstrated success in building and growing profitable client portfolios, driving market share, and unlocking new revenue opportunities.
  • Credit Structuring & Risk Management : Extensive experience in preparing and motivating credit applications, partnering with Credit to deliver quality lending decisions, and managing portfolio health.
  • Financial & Operational Expertise : Strong track record in budgeting, forecasting, cost management, governance, and implementing integrated, multi‑product solutions to meet complex client needs.
