The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Primary School (Kindergarten to Year 6) with strategic vision, spiritual maturity and operational excellence.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to : Providing executive leadership to Primary School operations, supported by three experienced DeputiesOverseeing workforce planning and staff management for a team of approximately 80, including maternity, long service and casual coverageEmbodying SCBC's Christian values through visible, hands-on engagement with students, families and staffEnsuring curriculum delivery and compliance aligns with current educational frameworks and standardsSupporting a seamless student journey from childcare through to secondary schoolingCollaborating regularly with the College Executive Team to advance school-wide strategic goalsContributing to the ongoing spiritual leadership of the College and its legacyA Strong Start With a Supportive TeamTo ensure a smooth transition, SCBC is committed to a comprehensive and welcoming onboarding experience.Before your formal start, you will be invited to meet with the Principal, HR and Executive Team to receive detailed briefings and be introduced to key staff.

You will gain visibility over the College's five-year strategic plan, current focus areas and operational frameworks.The role is expected to commence at the beginning of Term 2,

Not Just a Career.To qualify, you will need a relevant teaching degree and current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).

A minimum of five years' leadership experience within a primary school setting (Head, Deputy or Acting Head) is essential.

You must also be a practising Christian, committed to modelling and upholding Christian values in all aspects of school life in alignment with SCBC's Statement of Faith.Additionally, the following skills and experience will be highly regarded : Experience in executive leadership within a school contextFamiliarity with WA curriculum and compliance requirementsBackground in managing diverse staffing needs and team developmentUnderstanding of early years education, especially supporting new familiesAs our ideal candidate, you will be a servant leader who leads by example, inspires others and fosters a warm and inclusive school culture.
