Job description

The Head of Implementation is responsible for overseeing content publication, marketing automation, and web development to ensure seamless execution across all platforms. This role is critical in integrating CRMs with websites, business intelligence platforms, and other martech tools, ensuring that strategies are effectively implemented and optimized for performance.

This is a leadership role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision-making to improve efficiency and ensure marketing performance is continuously optimized.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Publication & Execution
  • Ensure on-time publishing of all content deliverables across websites, social media, email, and other distribution channels.

  • Oversee and optimize content management workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency in formatting, tagging, and SEO optimization.

  • Maintain and improve internal publication processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Marketing Automation & CRM Integration
  • Oversee CRM integrations with websites, landing pages, and automation workflows.

  • Build and optimize email marketing and nurture sequences, ensuring lifecycle-driven engagement.

  • Implement data tracking and segmentation strategies for better audience targeting and personalization.

  • Develop and maintain custom dashboards and reports to track marketing performance and automation effectiveness.

Web Development & Martech Integrations
  • Manage website updates, integrations, and performance optimizations to align with Client’s marketing strategies.

  • Lead the technical implementation of marketing automation tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between platforms.

  • Oversee API integrations between CRM, CMS, business intelligence tools, and other third-party applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, tracking, and integrations.

Performance Analytics & Reporting
  • Implement comprehensive tracking and analytics across CRM, website, and content channels.

  • Maintain real-time dashboards for automation performance, content engagement, and revenue impact.

  • Provide monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights for internal teams and customers.

  • Identify trends and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency, engagement, and ROI.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with the Growth, Account Management, and Content teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Act as the technical point of contact for martech stack improvements and integrations.

  • Train and support internal teams on best practices for automation, reporting, and content publishing.

  • Ensure all implementations align with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and security best practices.

Key Tasks & Deliverables:
Implementation & Execution

Ensure all content is published on time and formatted correctly across platforms.
Manage technical workflows and automation for marketing and sales processes.
Oversee CRM and website integrations, ensuring smooth functionality.
Maintain data accuracy, tagging, and reporting dashboards.

Optimization & Reporting

Track and analyze content performance, automation efficiency, and website engagement.
Maintain and improve performance dashboards to provide visibility into KPIs.
Generate and deliver regular reports that guide strategic decisions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CRM, automation, and web-related issues.

Leadership & Collaboration

Partner with Growth, Account Management, and Content teams to align on execution needs.
Provide training and documentation on CRM and martech workflows.
Advocate for data-driven decision-making, ensuring insights fuel strategy adjustments.

5+ years of experience in content operations, marketing automation, or web development.
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce Account Engagement, Marketo, etc.).
Strong understanding of website development, CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.), and APIs.
Expertise in marketing automation tools and campaign workflows.
Familiarity with data analytics, reporting dashboards, and business intelligence platforms.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
