Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership: Lead all facets of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, payroll, and compliance.
- Build and scale HR systems that enable organizational growth with operational excellence.
- Partner with leadership to design and execute a people strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Compliance & Governance: Own all HR-related compliance and SOC 2 adherence, ensuring audit readiness with zero exceptions.
- Maintain & update internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance across jurisdictions.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and manage end-to-end recruiting, hiring, and onboarding workflows that consistently attract & retain top-tier talent.
- Implement structured interview and onboarding systems that create consistency, visibility, and retention.
- Culture & Engagement: Define, operationalize, and reinforce company culture through measurable programs, communications, and rituals.
- Drive internal communication & engagement initiatives that promote trust and transparency.
- Plan & execute company-wide events, retreats, & recognition programs.
- Performance & Development: Oversee performance management cycles, including reviews, feedback systems, and career development plans.
- Build transparent, data-driven frameworks for evaluating performance & enabling growth.
- Payroll & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits & total rewards programs with precision and clarity — Ensure all HR data is accurate, secure, and auditable.
- Systems & Reporting: Automate HR workflows for efficiency & visibility through Confluence, Jira, & Asana.
- Build dashboards & reports that track key HR metrics such as engagement, retention, & compliance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of HR leadership or People Operations experience, ideally within SaaS or B2B environments.
- Direct SOC 2 or equivalent compliance management experience.
- Proven success leading high-quality recruiting & onboarding programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Confluence, Jira & Asana (builder, not just a user).
- Strong working knowledge of HR law, payroll, & compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Experience implementing transparent, scalable performance management systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, accountability, & precision.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills, with a zero-ego, reliability-first approach.
