A leading service provider in mining seeks a Director to organize and lead field services in Gauteng, South Africa. The role requires managing a team of Field Service Engineers and ensuring efficient execution of field jobs. Candidates must hold an engineering degree and have over 10 years of mining experience, including 5 years in managerial roles. Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with both clients and internal stakeholders are essential. Knowledge of mining equipment and a strong commercial understanding are required.
Organize control and lead field services business in Sales Area; manage a team of Field Service Engineers or Technicians
Field services P&L in the Sales Area.
Quotations preparation for field service and related offerings for Customers in the region.
Timely, safe, efficient and economic effective execution of the field service jobs in the region.
Customer relationship and liaison development of field services business in the region.
Liase with internal stakeholders at different levels.
Develop and maintain reporting system for the region.
Develop and motivate personnel.
Support FLS Spares Wears Upgrade & Rebuild business development in the region.
Engineering diploma / degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
At least 10 years of mining industry experience in maintenance and operation of mining plant and at least 5 years of managerial experience and interaction with Customers.
Thorough knowledge of equipment products site operations and maintenance especially mills, crusher, thickeners, pumps, cyclones and flotation cells.
Strong commercial and financial understanding.
Good communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders at different levels.
Ability to travel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in English; other language skills are more than welcome.
Well-founded on the Microsoft Office platform.
