A leading engineering management group in South Africa is seeking a Head of Engineering to own the engineering function and facilities operating model. This role involves translating customer business plans into effective strategies, driving compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing significant budgets in a complex operational environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, a GCC certificate, and extensive experience in FM leadership, ensuring high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or FM (postgraduate business/management is advantageous).
• GCC (Government Certificate of Competency) is required.
• Strong engineering leadership with multi-site experience.

Responsibilities

• Own FM engineering strategy and operating model across critical facilities.
• Build capex and opex budgets; ensure compliance and value delivery.
• Lead supplier strategy and oversee commercial, contract, and vendor management.
