Overview

Graphic Designer and Animator (JB5688) – Edenvale, Johannesburg (Hybrid: 3 days in-office per week). Salary: R20 000 - R25 000 CTC per month. Permanent.

Create striking digital designs and short-form motion for web and social while working in a collaborative, fast-moving creative team within a small digital agency.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification in Graphic, Multimedia, or related design field
• Strong portfolio showing design and animation
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro
• Experience creating motion graphics and editing short videos
• Knowledge of typography, layout, and colour theory
• Ability to design for digital and print
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Ability to be in the office three days per week
• Preferred: 3D basics in Blender or Cinema 4D
• Preferred: Webflow, Lottie or Rive for web animation
• Preferred: Figma familiarity and prior agency experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design brand-aligned assets for websites, campaigns, and social platforms
• Produce animations, motion graphics, and short-form video content
• Develop brand elements including logos and style guides
• Prepare visuals for web, social, print, and presentations
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to ensure consistency
• Work efficiently through feedback and revision cycles
• Keep current with design and motion trends, tools, and standards
• Deliver to quality standards and deadlines
