Job summary

A multinational financial services group is seeking a Governance and Legal Support Specialist to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support across governance, finance, and legal functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They should have a Bcom Law or Bachelors of Law degree, along with 3-5 years of experience in legal and governance settings. Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in legal, governance and company secretary environment.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance principles and regulatory frameworks such as Companies Act and King V.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Governance, Finance and Legal functions.
  • Prepare, review and coordinate Board and Committee packs.
  • Support implementation of governance frameworks and policies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for governance activities.
