We are recruiting an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead a luxury boutique hotel in Somerset West. This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands‑on hospitality professional with a strong Food & Beverage background and a proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the hotel
  • Drive exceptional service standards across all departments, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage excellence
  • Manage and optimise hotel budgets, forecasting, stock control and financial performance
  • Lead, motivate and develop department heads and staff to create a high‑performance culture
  • Oversee all F&B operations including restaurant, bar, menus, service quality and supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, hygiene and statutory regulations
  • Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers and local partners
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through events, functions and innovative F&B offerings
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel manager within a luxury or boutique hospitality environment
  • Strong Food & Beverage background is essential
  • Sound financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and revenue management
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills
  • A hands‑on, service‑driven approach with a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment
