Full Stack Data Warehouse Developer

Position: Full Stack Data Warehouse Developer

Role Purpose

Responsible for designing and developing end‑to‑end data warehouse, ETL, integration, modelling, performance tuning, and business intelligence components. Ensures solution quality, technical standards, and provides oversight and mentoring to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, troubleshoot, and support enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
• Build and deploy reports, dashboards, and visualisations with drill‑down functionality.
• Develop BI solutions using SQL, Microsoft BI Stack, ADF/Synapse Pipelines, and related tools.
• Integrate data from diverse on‑premise and cloud source systems.
• Participate in testing and deployment with the DevOps team.
• Perform daily database development and administration tasks (queries, views, schema objects).
• Maintain data models, warehouse structures, and hierarchies.
• Apply database performance tuning techniques.
• Review team code and ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
• Guide junior team members and support the lead developer in coordinating delivery.
• Maintain business continuity documentation in Azure DevOps.
• Support innovation and modernisation of data technologies in collaboration with architecture teams.
• Leverage junior resources for large‑scale project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–4 year IT qualification in Software Development.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in the data domain.

Experience

• Full BI development lifecycle exposure.
• Minimum 6+ years in IT, with 4+ years in Data Analytics/BI.
• Experience managing data projects.
• Essential: Azure Data Factory/Synapse Pipelines.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI.
