Front of House Manager – Café

Our vibrant café in Lonehill is looking for a Front of House Manager to create memorable experiences for our guests, lead and support our team, and ensure operational excellence. If you love building relationships, delivering exceptional service, and running a smooth front-of-house operation, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks
  • Manage bookings and function reservations, including email correspondence, invoicing, and phone enquiries
Guest Experience
  • Welcome and seat guests warmly
  • Handle customer concerns and special requests professionally
Staff Management
  • Supervise and motivate restraint staff
  • Provide training where necessary
Operations Management
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, stock ordering and organization of dining areas
Service Coordination
  • Work closely with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service and efficient table turnover
Event Coordination
  • Manage special events, private parties, and large bookings to ensure smooth execution
Requirements & Skills
  • Availability to work weekends (Our cafe is open every day except Mondays)
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer centric approach with a flair for creating memorable experiences
