The 2D Animator will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging animations, bringing characters, scenes, and concepts to life. You will collaborate closely with designers, illustrators, and the creative team to deliver polished animations for advertising campaigns, digital content, games, or other relevant mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D animations for various platforms, including social media, web, video, and advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and translate concepts into motion.
• Prepare storyboards, animatics, and timing sheets to plan animation sequences.
• Ensure animations align with brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Maintain high-quality standards, attention to detail, and deadlines.
• Adapt animations based on feedback from clients or internal teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator or Motion Designer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D animation skills, storytelling, and character work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
• Understanding of animation principles: timing, squash & stretch, anticipation, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desirable

• Experience in motion graphics, social media content, or advertising campaigns.
• Illustration skills to create original characters and assets.
• Experience with frame-by-frame animation and rigged animation techniques.
