A leading automotive company in Pretoria seeks a legal professional to provide compliance support and manage legal projects. You'll be responsible for drafting contracts and ensuring compliance with various legal frameworks. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or LLB, with preferred admission as an attorney. The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment.
Objective of the job:
To provide general legal and compliance support service to various companies within the MBSA group of companies, with regards to all commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, as well as product liability and consumer protection act claims in compliance with the Company's Integrity and Anti-Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E tasks and duties and to inform superior about deviations.
Main Tasks:
Communication and feedback: Open communication channels internally and externally facilitates customer satisfaction, all reports to relevant management and clients as per agreed process and in agreed format.
Participation and/or managing of projects within the legal department.
Legal advice and recommendations: Accurate and appropriate at all times, to reduce risk and prejudice towards the Company and all relevant information provided. Facilitates prompt feedback.
Draft contracts for the Company in accordance with instructions received from business that is accurate, risk mitigating and line with legal framework and business content and terminology.
