Job Summary

At Ten, our goal is simple: to become the most trusted service business in the world.

We are the global market leader in lifestyle management and concierge services, operating through a strong international office network with over 1,000 employees worldwide. Our service is delivered through Ten’s proprietary technology-enabled platform combined with the expertise of our highly trained lifestyle managers.

Ten is growing rapidly, with ambitious plans to innovate, inspire, and continue improving the lives of millions of members globally. We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support this growth and help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations.

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly close processes, managing cash flow reporting, and ensuring compliance with regional statutory requirements, including audits and local filings. You will work as part of the Global Finance Team and collaborate closely with Operations and regional stakeholders.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role supports the Head of FP&A in delivering high-quality financial insights, forecasts, and reporting that drive strategic decision-making across the Group. You’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while partnering with stakeholders to improve financial outcomes and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts for P&L, Balance Sheet, and Group-level cash flow.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of budget templates tailored to departmental and regional needs, incorporating variables such as FX, job roles, and office locations.
  • Support the annual budgeting cycle and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts across departments.
  • Participate in monthly variance review meetings with cost owners, providing insights and challenge where needed.
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities, including cost‑saving initiatives and client‑related risks.
  • Build and maintain financial models for ad‑hoc analysis (e.g., ROI, profitability, FX impact).
Process Improvement & Business Partnering
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to integrate non‑financial data into financial analysis and reporting.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of FP&A tools (e.g., Planful), enabling more efficient and insightful reporting.
  • Provide modelling and Excel expertise to the wider Finance team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across FP&A processes and tools.
Qualifications
  • Progress toward or completion of a relevant accounting qualification (CA Articles, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong Excel skills, including Power Query and financial modelling.
  • Experience with FP&A or BI tools (e.g., Planful, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A curious mindset with a drive to challenge assumptions and improve processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exposure to international business environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven tools and their application in financial analysis is desirable.

Our people are at the heart of the business, and we have a culture of recognition and reward – both through regular appraisals and annual Extra Mile Awards where we celebrate those who have gone that extra mile in their role. We also encourage all staff to incorporate their aspirations and interests into their career at Ten and are there every step of the way in supporting development.

All employees enjoy a range of benefits regardless of location. In addition to a remote work option, employees receive 3 extra days of annual leave in their third year and an extra month every five years. We also operate a Ten Loyalty Reward program – a bonus (described as ‘extra spending money’) awarded once these milestones are reached. The program’s intent is to recognise commitment and loyalty while enabling staff to fund adventures during sabbaticals.

Other benefits specific to the South Africa office include access to ICAS Employee Health and Wellness (EHWP) services, confidential and free for all employees, discounts on travel and entertainment events, social events throughout the year, and a break‑out room with games and the latest fruit drop.

We also offer a company contribution towards medical aid, transport home for late shift workers (if they do not have a car), and popular working‑holiday opportunities that allow staff to work from any of our 20+ offices without taking annual leave.

Preference will be given to candidates in alignment with the employment equity plan of the organization

Ten works with a small Preferred Suppliers List, focused on specialists in each location. We are not accepting any further agencies onto our PSL at this time.
