Our client a prestigious organization within the premium leisure and hospitality estates sector is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to take full ownership of their finance operations. This is a high-impact role suited to a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and driving meaningful hands‑on change. They are looking for a finance professional who is either CIMA‑registered or a Chartered Accountant with 5‑7 years post‑article experience ideally within the property environment. You’ll work closely with the Board of Directors to guide financial strategy, optimise cash flow and lead a committed finance team toward operational excellence. This role is perfect for someone energized by transformation, implementing new strategies, streamlining workflows and championing automation to elevate financial performance across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee core finance functions including AP, AR/Revenue, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Procurement and the General Ledger
  • Lead budgeting, cash flow management and monthly management reporting
  • Prepare board packs
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls across procurement, cash & bank, inventory, debtors, creditors, payroll, assets and membership
  • Manage taxation, prepare annual financial statements and tax computations and review all tax returns
  • Oversee annual audits and ensure compliance with CIPC, POPIA and CSOS requirements
  • Perform investment appraisals for capital projects and review contracts for sub‑contractors
  • Manage insurance processes and claims across multiple entities ensuring full coverage and compliance
  • Oversee IT and systems service providers, monitor SLAs, assess financial and operational risks and drive system improvements
  • Lead, train and develop finance staff
