Our client is the South African arm of a global leader in secondary power distribution, specialising in medium‑and low‑voltage switchgear, automation, monitoring and network solutions.

Key Accountabilities
  • Analyse and review monthly results
  • Perform variance analysis against current and prior year monthly results
  • Provide support and strategic input to management
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Responsibility for Financial Control and record keeping
  • Development of financial control systems and procedures
  • Responsibility for all areas of the year‑end audit
  • Manage relationship with local auditors
  • Ensure integrity of inventory
  • Preparation of quarterly profit, balance sheet and cash flow forecast
  • Preparation of annual budget and co‑ordination of management plan
  • Provide an input into Lucy Electric's medium‑term strategic plan
  • Responsibility for funding and cash flow management
  • Analyse and review forecast and budget results
  • Perform variance analysis against budget (forecast) and prior year results
  • 3. Treasury
  • Responsibility for foreign currency conversion (working with Group Treasury department)
