Overview

A fast-paced and rapidly growing hardware distribution company is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join its Finance Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and review daily financial transactions including bank petty cash creditors and journals
• Prepare and submit VAT EMP201 / EMP501 and monthly management reports
• Maintain accurate reconciliations GL integrity and supplier accounts
• Oversee payroll processing and related compliance
• Experience with Foreign payments and banks
• Drive proactive cost-effective financial improvements
• Liaise with auditors consultants and SARS on financial matters
• Lead a small finance team and ensure timely task execution

Requirements

• BCom in Accounting / Advanced Diploma / B-Tech in finance (required)
• Articles and industry experience (advantageous)
• Proficiency in Pastel Evolution
• Minimum 5 years experience as Financial Accountant or in a similar role
