Our client, a leader in premium hospitality, is seeking a strategic hands‑on Finance Manager to own the finance function and drive impactful change. If you’re a CIMA‑qualified professional or Chartered Accountant with 57 years post‑articles experience (ideally in property or hospitality) this is your chance to shape financial strategy, optimise cash flow and lead a high‑performing team. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee all core finance functions: AP, AR, Revenue, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Procurement and General Ledger.
  • Lead budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and monthly management reporting.
  • Prepare and present detailed board packs.
  • Implement robust internal controls across procurement, banking, inventory, payroll, assets and membership.
  • Manage taxation: annual financial statements, tax computations and review returns.
  • Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with CIPC, POPIA and CSOS regulations.
  • Conduct investment appraisals for capital projects and review subcontractor agreements.
  • Manage insurance processes and claims across multiple entities.
  • Oversee IT and systems providers, monitor SLAs, mitigate financial and operational risks and drive system enhancements.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
