Introduction

To ensure accurate, timeous and complete back-office function is maintained

Job description
  • Analyse and be able to account for foreign exchange transactions, including all back office work in both Tradecloud and manual system.
  • Perform confirmations with the banks for CFC Funding
  • Maintain records of SARB applications and submit renewal applications timeously
  • Upload journals onto Oracle for banking transactions which occur
  • Actively/ timeously resolve outstanding reconciling item
  • Build strong relationships with banks and internal customers
  • Accurately balance and reconcile allocated accounts in accordance with accounting best practice
  • Deliver accurate and timeous bank account reconciliations
  • Bank rate uploads onto system and reasonability checks
  • Analyse all CFC funding checks pre and post accounts being funded (non FBH)
  • Prepare the CFC funding instruction letters
  • Perform analysis on FEC position at month end and report (CRV and Foods)
  • Manage non FBH forex on a manual system which requires attention to detail.
  • Loading of payments, beneficiaries and suppliers on online banking
  • Weekly preparation and payments for CRV CFC Funding
  • Perform ad-hoc administration duties
Minimum requirements
  • 3-year finance qualification
  • Working knowledge of Trade cloud system
  • Basic Accounting certificate and 3-years relevant industry experience
  • Computer literacy – Oracle and Excel
  • Understanding of accounting practices Understanding of foreign exchange
  • Imports knowledge will be advantages
