Overview

Finance Analyst supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis in all financial planning, analysis and reporting for the company and subsidiaries, optimizing efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Budget management: support the setting of quality budgets and forecasts for sales and operational areas.
• Assist in weekly and monthly detailed analysis of CAPEX and overheads to review actual performance against budgets and targets.
• Maintain control processes and procedures to ensure sales controllable costs align with the budget.
• Perform financial and non‑financial management reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Administer reporting tools and reports needed for financial reporting.
• Monitor, review, report and track financial achievement against budget and report deviances for corrective action.
• Develop, implement and maintain reporting on customer and product profitability.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support strategy development in sales, marketing and operational areas and improve efficiency and drive profitability.
• Recognize patterns, trends and opportunities in weekly gross profits.
• Administer accurate product costing and analyze variances.
• Serve as finance support to sales, marketing and operational areas.

Qualifications

Salary

For a graduate, the salary will be R 28, per month. For a graduate who is CIMA qualified, the salary will be R 30, per month. Otherwise, the salary will range between R 30, – R 35, CTC per month, depending on experience. This is a TCTC package – no additional benefits.
