Job summary

A leading equipment service provider in Durban is seeking a technician to perform field repairs and maintenance on machinery. The successful candidate will ensure equipment is delivered and maintained in optimal condition. Applicants should have a Grade 12/N3 qualification, with at least four years of experience in maintenance on Linde or similar equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations and relevant technical expertise is essential. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in maintenance and repairs on Linde or Material Handling Equipment.
• 2 years experience in technical field services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field repairs, maintenance, and services on Eazi Access machines.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order and free from damage.
• Complete regular inspections and functional procedures.

Overview

To carry out field repairs, maintenance and services on Eazi Access Machines and Platforms on client sites.

To ensure that equipment is delivered and proactively maintained in good working order, fully functional and free from any damage.

To maintain relevant equipment operationally by completing regular inspections and functional procedures as defined from time to time.

Qualifications

Grade 12 / N3

Experience

4 years experience Post Qualification - maintenance and repairs on Linde or Material Handling Equipment.

2 years experience in technical field services, maintenance, and repairs.

Knowledge Requirement

Relevant Technical product knowledge on Linde or Material Handling equipment.

Knowledge of work of height machinery and equipment advantageous.

Industry specific knowledge i.e. mining, construction, light & heavy industrial.

OSHAS and safety industry regulations.

Mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and electronic tooling knowledge.

Knowledge of mechanical inspections, tools, and analyzers.
