Job summary

A leading education provider in South Africa seeks a Faculty Manager for a 6-month fixed term contract. The incumbent will provide high-level academic and operational support to ensure excellence within the Faculty. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Higher Education, alongside relevant skills in curriculum design and quality assurance. This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Overview

SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.

Position

Faculty Manager – a fixed term contract for 6 months. This role provides high‑level academic and operational support to the Head of Faculty, ensuring operational excellence within the Faculty.

Responsibilities

Manages curriculum implementation, upholds curriculum excellence, assures academic quality, supports academic teams, and aligns regulatory frameworks across the Faculty.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Higher Education.
  • Experience in curriculum design and quality assurance.
  • Strong working knowledge of CHE, SAQA, DHET, and HPCSA regulatory frameworks.

Operating Hours

This is a full‑time position operating from Monday to Friday*:

Monday to Thursday: 08:30am to 05:00pm

Friday: 08:30am to 04:00pm
