The Role Will Encompass

• Crafting meticulously planned, bespoke WETU itineraries of exceptional quality for a diverse range of international clients, spanning from Honeymooners to Families.
• Undertaking comprehensive responsibility for the costing, planning, implementation, and confirmation of these itineraries.
• Engaging with warm sales leads through a combination of email and telephone communication to optimise conversion rates.
• Ensuring that presented itineraries align closely with individual client requirements, and providing supporting information and advice at the highest standard.
• Proactively developing product knowledge by staying abreast of the latest industry developments, thereby maintaining a status as a true country specialist with current commercial insights into hotels and infrastructure.
• Demonstrating unwavering commitment to customer service.
• Collaborating within a small REMOTE team, fostering positive working relationships, and exhibiting a robust team ethic.
• Demanding an in-depth understanding of the destinations sold, with firsthand knowledge being essential.

Essential Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a destination specialist for Southern Africa.
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is mandatory, in addition to English, as 90% of our clients are German-speaking.
• A passion for travel within Southern Africa.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• The ability to intuitively understand people and comprehend the German mentality.
• Advanced proficiency in computer literacy.
• Highly organised with robust time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a capacity for independence.
