We are seeking a highly capable and commercially-savvy Executive Business Assistant to provide strategic, operational, and administrative support to the Deputy CEO. This role is more than traditional PA duties — it requires business acumen, independent thinking, strong leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to planning, organising, and executing tasks across multiple areas of the business.
You will work closely with the Deputy CEO, participating in high-level initiatives across Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, and Business Development. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Assist with strategic planning, project management, and operational initiatives across all departments.
- Commercial Assistance: Conduct research, market analysis, and prepare reports to aid decision-making.
- Project Coordination: Track, manage, and drive cross-functional projects to completion, ensuring deadlines and business objectives are met.
- Leadership Support: Attend key meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure action points are executed.
- Operational Excellence: Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing better workflows across the organisation.
- Communication Management: Draft professional communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Manage calendar, travel arrangements, and confidential documentation as needed (light, not primary focus).
About You:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a professional business environment (consulting, finance, marketing, operations, or similar).
- Skills:
- Strong planning, organisation, and leadership capabilities.
- Commercially minded with a good understanding of business drivers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management software like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com).
Desirable:
- Experience in the fintech, or digital industry sectors.
- Experience supporting senior executives or working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and marketing metrics.
