Role Overview
Marisa is an attorney currently working at a large corporation and is preparing for a new venture. She is looking for a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant who can support both personal/family logistics (4 children) and professional research/work support. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented EA who enjoys curating information, creating weekly “research packets,” managing calendars, and handling personal admin like meal planning and grocery organization. Over time, the role may expand into light email support, scheduling, travel planning, and document summarization related to a potential private equity deal.

- Handle personal admin tasks as needed (reservations, bookings, reminders).
- Assist with thoughtful tasks such as gift planning and important date tracking (birthdays, events).

- Basic research on legal/business concepts (as directed)
- Organizing deal-related files and notes
- Assist with additional “business deal” learning/research over time as needs evolve.
Administrative Support (Growth Area)
- Calendar scheduling support (business + personal) as the role grows.
- Optional: draft email responses for review (not required initially).
- Travel planning support (flights/hotels/restaurants) as needed.
Required Skills & Experience

- Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Outlook calendar scheduling experience
Nice-to-haves:

- Thoughtful and detail-driven (keeps track of moving pieces, anticipates needs)
- Practical and reliable, with strong follow-through
- Comfortable with ambiguity (Marisa is still shaping the exact workflow)
Success Metrics (What “Great” Looks Like)
- Weekly research packets are delivered on time, relevant, and easy to digest
- Calendars feel organized and predictable (fewer missed items)
- Household logistics (meal planning/grocery lists) reduce daily friction
