Estimator (Abuntex/Audatex Specialist) / East London

Our client in the Auto Bodyworks Industry is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join their dynamic team. Only Applicants with extensive experience in Abuntex and Audatex software to apply. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the automotive repair or insurance industry.
• Strong proficiency in Abuntex and Audatex estimation software.
• Excellent understanding of vehicle bodywork, mechanical components, and repair procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles and accurately assess repair requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive estimates using Abuntex and Audatex software.
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams regarding estimates and repair processes.
• Ensure estimates are compliant with company and insurance standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all estimates.
• Monitor repair progress and adjust estimates if necessary.
• Assist in training or mentoring junior estimators, where applicable.

Salary:

Market related (Mibco rates, negotiable on experience)
