A leading facilities management firm is seeking an experienced candidate to ensure infrastructure services are maintained effectively while leading a technical team. The role demands a strong focus on availability, continuity, and risk management alongside the execution of planned maintenance. Required qualifications include Grade 12 and an N6 Diploma in Engineering, with 5 years' experience in engineering and 3 years in facilities management. This position offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and develop a motivated team.

This role is accountable for ensuring infrastructure services are maintained and operational to agreed service standards, with a strong focus on asset availability, business continuity, and proactive risk reduction. You’ll manage planned maintenance execution, oversee reactive work, investigate equipment or plant failures to determine root cause, and identify assets nearing end of life for capital planning consideration.
You’ll also provide specialist technical guidance to Facilities and Project teams, approve specifications for new plant and equipment in line with engineering standards and good practice, and ensure incident management protocols are followed so redundancy systems remain fully operational. A key part of the role is leading and developing a technical team while maintaining professional, effective relationships with client representatives.
