Role Purpose

Th purpose of a Driver Engagement Specialist is to deliver engaging, accessible, and operationally relevant communication and training content to support last‑mile delivery drivers. The role ensures drivers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to operate safely, comply with regulations, and deliver excellent customer service.

Role Description
Service Delivery
  • Deliver microlearning content and communication aligned to operational needs.
  • Ensure timely and relevant updates to driver‑facing materials across digital and in‑person platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar and audit trail to support consistent delivery.
Task Management
  • Plan and organise own tasks to meet agreed performance standards.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and onboarding programs.
  • Track attendance and engagement metrics for training and communication initiatives.
Issue Resolution
  • Escalate unresolved issues from driver feedback or training sessions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing survey and engagement data.
Operational Support
  • Assist in implementing driver safety programs and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and control hub teams to ensure alignment of content with field realities.
  • Provide support for annual and ad‑hoc driver engagement surveys.
Specialist Knowledge
  • Apply instructional design principles to create content tailored for a diverse driver audience.
  • Translate complex procedures into simple, visual, and multilingual formats.
  • Leverage mobile‑first platforms and digital tools to enhance content delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Marketing, Communication, or related field - (essential).
  • +2 years’ experience in instructional design, marketing, or communications - (essential).
  • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle - (essential).
  • Motorbike licence - (preferred).
  • Knowledge of road safety or logistics operations - (preferred).

Location

You will need to alternate between 100 Edward Street, Bo‑Oakdale and Fairbridge offices in Brackenfell.
