SydSen Recruit is partnering with a reputable international company to recruit experienced Electricians for a rewarding opportunity in the Middle East!

Requirements
  • 3+ Years' proven experience as an Electrician.
  • Valid South African Passport.
  • Excellent employment references.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Installation / Technology or related field (Trade Certificate (Red Seal) as a Qualified Artisan)
  • Wireman\'s License (advantageous).
  • High Voltage (HV) Certificate, PLC Programming Courses, Solar PV Installation Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) Certificate, First-Aid (Advantageous).
  • Willing to relocate to the Middle East.
Responsibilities
  • Install and connect wiring, lighting systems, outlets, and electrical equipment in buildings and structures.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and circuit schematics.
  • Install circuit breakers, panels, and distribution boards.
  • Mount and connect electrical devices.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using test devices.
  • Identify potential hazards or defects in systems and address them proactively.
  • Maintain and replace worn or defective wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, and components using tools and testing instruments.
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, electrical fixtures, and control systems.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations and national electrical codes.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and use protective equipment when necessary.
  • Complete job cards, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Construction teams) when required.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and electrical systems
  • Provide input during planning phases for new installations or upgrades
